JRC | Cocoon 2G Bivvy

RRP: from £299.99 to £349.99 | Online: jrc-fishing.co.uk

The highly regarded JRC Cocoon Bivvy has been given an upgrade, with a range of new features to make it even more angler-friendly, and give even greater protection against the elements. Built on a new square frame, it has been designed to offer more space than ever before in order to meet the demands of modern carpers, who use wider bedchairs and require more space for tackle for longer sessions.

It is available in roomy one-man and two-man options, and has been manufactured from 10,000HH 210D PU-coated nylon material, which is capable of withstanding some of the harshest of downpours. Combined with the ultra-light 6061 aerospace-grade rigid aluminium alloy poles, finished in a non-glare titanium grey, this allows for maximum strength and keeps down the overall weight. The one-man model weighs a mere 11kg, and the two-man is a little heavier, coming in at 15kg.

Both models take 4 minutes to set up, so you can be fishing in hardly any time at all, and if it’s raining, you’ll be protected from the elements. There is an integrated peak to prevent rain from coming inside if the door is open, and the bivvy door can be used letter box-style, so you can watch the water from the comfort of the bivvy and not miss a thing.

They come complete with a heavy-duty groundsheet and bivvy pegs, plus a whole host of other superb features, such as rod straps, multiple door options, and vents to allow airflow, to keep you cool in the summer and protected from the weather when needed.
